A huge thank you to Miranda and the couple who rehabilitated old Charlie the galah before he was brought to the PPR. These past two months his confidence has increased, he tries pellets and he has blossomed into a social, (relatively) well behaved parrot who loves kisses and games. I urge anyone interested in having a parrot in your life to consider adoption because the rewards are endless.

Hi Megan,
Thanks for letting me know. I'm so happy to know he's gone to a good home and is being well looked after. Is he walking up and down the ramps she built for him? I'd love to see some pictures when she has some free time.
If you have questions about any birds in particular, just send through an email.
Thanks,
Miranda

hi, my name is megan and i drove my mum down to pick up the little unfortunate budgie you had up for adoption. I went and visited mum and Frankie (the little budgie) today and just thought i would let you know he is doing great. Mum and he are great mates, i havent seen her so happy in ages and i think he is enjoying himself to, nothing but the best for that little fellow. I am looking forward to adopting soon aswell, i just have to get my new aviary's finished then i will be in contact with you. ( i am typing with 2 cockateils and a budgie sitting on my head) hahaha

Hi, great site and great work, keep it up. I breed/hand raise parrots/budgies etc here in Whyalla SA (also licensed)and quite often have total strangers bring me injured birds especially bronze wings and so far 100% return to their own location. Once again great job.
